Charity events are always a great way to make a brand known. Besides being an outstanding way to support your community, they provide networking options that may not be available under other circumstances. Getting involved in charity events may sound like a huge undertaking, but it’s really as simple as discussing your involvement with the charity organization and setting up an event date.
These events have proven to be very successful in past years and it is no surprise that many vineyards have become active in such events over time. In fact, it’s quite common to see these events hosted at vineyards and wine-tasting locales all over the world! Many vineyards here in the U.S. host charity events every year and have shown such a great amount of success that they repeat the process year after year, delighting in the fact that they are able to help their community.
The reason vineyards are so successful with charity events is the community. Yes, this means they are so successful because of you! The winemaking community is huge, encompassing the entire world, and as such, they are able to provide a large amount of support that these events often require. Whether physically appearing at the event or donating through online outlets, wine aficionados come together and give their full support to events such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley Crab Feed coming up on January 28th.
The above-mentioned event will be held in the Chardonnay Hall at the Napa Valley Expo and will, obviously, support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley. Tickets for this event are available through their contact page or you can make a donation there as well. We expect the event to be pretty darn great with a lot of premium wines on-site and some delicious crab to eat! This event, itself, is a great example of why these events work. Vineyards from all over come together and help to create an outstanding event for the community and, in turn, the community certainly shows their appreciation and generosity!
There are a wide variety of vineyards in the world, as well as a large number of charity events that appreciate their support. However, some vineyards have taken this a step further by creating their own foundations as well! For example, Spirit Horse Vineyards is far more than just an amazing winery! They also support the SpiritHorse Riding Center, a foundation created to provide horseback therapy for children with mental, emotional, and physical challenges in their lives. SHV has a variety of wines that they produce for the public and a portion of the sales of these labels directly support the riding center and other educational charities throughout the world!
I’m pretty sure we can all agree that the community behind winemaking and its vintners is pretty big. Overall, any charity event can benefit from the publicity this community can provide and the warm hearts that it includes. Foundations like SpiritHorse are neither few nor far between in this community and we’re proud to be supporting such outstanding causes. Our community is the foremost reason these events work. The dedication to winemaking “pours” out into every event, every year, decade after decade.
