Colorado craft beer: Fort Collins Brewery

Our Journey

Colorado craft beer is certainly starting to gain notice and Fort Collins Brewery is a big part of the reason for that.  These folks have created one heck of a great place in Fort Collins, Colorado and we hope they continue to turn out the amazing Colorado craft beer that they’ve already gained notoriety for.

What is so special about Colorado craft beer?

Colorado craft beer may not seem special just by locale, and we can’t necessarily argue that.  It is the outstanding quality and craftsmanship of the brews we have come across that really hits the right notes for us here at West Palm Beach Brewery.  However, it’s not just their amazing craft beer that has caught our attention.  These folks show serious dedication to both their brews, which is something we highly respect.

Starting out in 2003 as a strictly German lager house, this brewery has taken on a new face over the years.  They now have a variety of brewing systems in place and offer a range of brews that would make any brewmaster proud.  They definitely make us proud, as we’re joining the craft brewing industry and strive to show the same quality and dedication these folks show.

What about their Colorado craft beers; what do they offer?

FCB offers a great selection of brews that ensure every patron will find something they like.  In addition, their brew staff are highly knowledgeable and are happy to help patrons select a brew based on their specific tastes.  For example, if you prefer a dry finish to a sweet brew with a high ABV, they could easily direct you to the craft beer they offer that would suit you.  They also have tours available and some great offers for those who want to join their clubs.

The craft beers offered range from delicious craft beers to amazing craft sodas!  We were pretty darn happy to see that they’ve expanded their offerings to include a variety of folks that have so many different tastes.  We were curious about the craft beers right from the start, but when we saw they offered craft sodas as well, we just had to give them a try.  After all, adventure is what craft breweries are all about.

Craft sodas from a brewery that makes Colorado craft beers?

Yes folks, you read that right.  These guys offer craft sodas, too, which is pretty awesome.  It’s nice to see a craft brewery offering such an interesting variety to their patrons.  Check them out if you get a chance because the sodas were just as delicious as the brews.  Their Cherry Vanilla Soda is quite interesting and really exemplifies the quality of their craft sodas.  We loved the blend they created and we’re sure you will as well.

Another great soda they have created is Cucumber Lime, which was highly refreshing.  The cross turned out extremely well and it’s a hit at their local taproom.  However, we’re here for the craft beer, so let’s head on to that for now and give you what you came looking for!

Colorado craft beer you will love from aroma to finish

Whether you enjoy a crisp IPA, a lovely red, or a tasty stout, you’re sure to find something you like at FCB.  We tried a wide range of their craft beer while we were there and we’re sure you’re going to like at least one of them as well.  How can we be sure of this?  The answer to that is quite simple.  The quality of their craft beer is off the charts!

For example, if you enjoy a great stout, check out their year-round brew, Shot Down.  This Chocolate Stout has everything you could want in a delicious stout.  From the lovely chocolate aroma to that gorgeous pale black color and on to the creamy flavor profile that exhibits plenty of well-blended characteristics, you’re sure to love it.  It pairs well quite a range of rich meals from desserts to dinners and is going to be a great addition to your pantry.

Check out what Colorado craft beer has to offer

We hope you get the chance to go visit these folks and see what they have to offer.  Here in West Palm Beach we’re going to be working hard to get our own brewery open for you.  This place has been a lot of work and we’re very excited to be opening our doors in April to the public.  We hope to see you then and until that day, we’ll be trying out more craft brews to report to you.
