If you live in South Florida and are looking for the new and the latest, and greatest, in craft beer and tap rooms, mark your calendars for 2017! Why? Four new micro breweries are opening. And you can take the Tri-Rail to get there.
That’s right ! With an expected grand opening sometime in April of 2017, the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault will be opening at 332 Evernia Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.
Not only will local guys be “making beer right here“, but the Wine Vault will also offer small production, premium wine from all over Napa Valley, Sonoma, Paso Robles and the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara.
What makes this craft brewer so special?
“Well, we are one block west of the intracoastal where you can rent kayaks and boards and enjoy the waterway while looking at the mansions of Palm Beach” says Dan Galasso. “But beyond quenching your thirst after a run along the water or a workout with a Palm Beach Pilsner or Lithuanian Imperial Stout, we will be offering very serious wines to those that appreciate, and seek out, premium wines.”
That’s right, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noirs, Sonoma reds, Los Carneros Chardonnays, and Grenache and Syrah from Santa Barbara. Right along side Dan’s Dreamsicle Ale, Worth Avenue Stout, and a host of IPAs.
“We buy what we can get and often it’s very small quantities, like 25 or 50 cases.”
Want to get ahead of the curve and the crowd? Patience is required: for now. West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault expects to launch a free e-newsletter notifying wine lovers of wines they’ve just bottled so that wine lovers will get the chance to purchase wine futures and secure an allocation of that Cabernet even before it’s bottled or it arrives in the Sunshine State. If you want to taste that Pinot Noir first, before you buy, it’s OK. The e-newsletter for the craft brewery and wine vault in West Palm will let everyone know when the new wines arrive and will feature a release party.
So, how do you get there from South Florida? Take the Tri-Rail to the West Palm Beach station and walk 4 blocks west to 332 Evernia. Here is the link for the Tri Rail: www.tri-rail.com.
