3 Brand New Beers Coming to West Palm Brewery in June!

June is here!
Summer might be upon us in south Florida, but West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault is certainly not slowing down

Chief Brewer Joel Kodner has been working hard to create fresh, never before seen, expertly crafted summer beers for the brewery! So what do we have fermenting away behind the glass?

We have three brand spankin’ new beers that will be released during the month of June!

  • So what are they?
  • 1- Cream Ale: Our first new beer coming this month is a Cream Ale! (Name TBA)
Cream Ales are a spinoff from the American light Lager style. They are light in color, low in hop bitterness, and well-carbonated. There are some common misconceptions about Cream Ales. Mainly: There’s NO cream, lactose, or extra sweetness added, despite the name. Our Cream Ale will be approximately 5.0% ABV; it has been cold-conditioned to be a light, refreshing, crisp and clean beer. Our Cream Ale has just a slight touch of honey-malt for flavor, and minimal additions of Sterling hops for balance.

  • 2- Group Thing IPA (vol.1): Our second new beer coming this month is a new IPA….made collaboratively!
One of our core values at West Palm Brewery is community. That includes within our staff, and with our guests! This new IPA is the first in a collaborative, rotating series of brews with our taproom staff. Different Brew Crew members went behind the glass to learn even more about the brewing process with Joel, and helped make this beer a reality. We hope to continue this with many more staff and more beers to come. This new IPA was brewed with copious amounts of Azacca and Idaho 7 hops, imparting huge notes of Tropical fruit, Citrus, and Pine. It has minimal upfront bitterness for an IPA with 33 IBUs, and clocks in at 5.3% ABV.

  • 3- Wild Summer Nights: Our third new beer coming in June is a Summer Wheat Ale!
This craft beer, to be released at the end of June, is made to kick-off the summer months. This will be an easy-drinking wheat beer to beat the hot and humid South Florida heat. It was brewed with several gallons of local wildflower honey, which adds a hugely floral sweetness on the back end. It will be approximately 4.6% ABV!

We are very excited to release these brand new beers to you, our guests! We always strive to come up with a wide variety of delicious, innovative, quality craft beers that are never distributed, and are tailored to our local community. Let us know which one you are most excited for! Stay tuned for Tap Party Release Dates, which will include giveaways and food pairings!
