Las Vegas, the hottest tourist spot in the United States for those who love bright lights, ringing machines, lots of gambling, and apparently, great craft beer. When we were told about Banger Brewing Company, we weren’t really surprised that there would be a craft brewery in Las Vegas. However, we were surprised at how popular this brewing company has already become, given the many things there are to do in Las Vegas (and the fact that casinos serve drinks).
Instead of having watered down drinks in one of the many casinos, you can just pop on over to Banger Brewing and enjoy some real beer with great people and take a break from the madness that is Vegas. That was what made us take a break from all the construction going on here in south Florida at West Palm Beach Brewery and Wine Vault. The chance to go try some great craft beer in a city predominantly know for its gambling scene, which is exactly how Banger Brewing came to be.
The five owners of Banger Brewing all started out in the Bellagio, working towards a brighter future for themselves. After many years of traveling, learning the ins and outs of the food and beverage industry, and garnering trust and friendship in one another, these folks came together in holy craftrimony, creating Banger Brewing Company. Much like us, they took the time to visit other breweries and get to know their fellow brewers, as well as size up their brews. This practice has served them very well because they are producing outstanding craft beer as a result of their expertise and research.
Las Vegas really had been missing that element of greatness. The one that comes from sitting down and enjoying an amazing craft beer with friends. Sure, there are plenty of lights and sounds in that great city, but having a dedicated and hard-working brewery around makes it all the more enjoyable for many of us who would have skipped the city otherwise. After all, why go there when we can pop over to L.A. where there are breweries? Instead, having Banger Brewing in residence has helped to draw people in that aren’t necessarily interested in all the gambling scene has to offer.
If you get a chance to check out Banger Brewing, make sure to let us know. Perhaps you’ve already had some of their great craft beer. If so, leave us a comment and let us know what you thought about it. We’d love to hear from you and your comment might be the inspiration for our next feature post. In the meantime, cheers from all of us at West Palm Beach Brewery and Wine Vault.
