Should we make a Coffee IPA at the West Palm Beach Brewery in our production facility at 332 Evernia Street? Here’s how we got here.
This Brewery Has Great Wine ! Chief Brewer Joel Kodner and the owner traveled to Santa Barbara, California in the last six months. The purpose of the trip was to barrel sample wine — specifically, some of the Drum Canyonwines from the 2016 and 2017 vintages which were still in French Oak Barrels. These wines will eventually make it to this brewery’s wine list https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-wines/
Coffee IPA? On their trip, they tried a great lighter beer with a coffee flavor. It was a coffee IPA and the chief brewer loved it. Now, I know that lots of craft beer drinkers love IPAs. And many of our fans in our tap room at the West Palm Brewery love our dark coffee porters, and brown ales. We got to thinking of making a coffee IPA right here in West Palm Beach. “Worlds are colliding, Jerry!” Rate Beer also rates or ranks Coffee IPAs https://www.ratebeer.com/tag/coffee-ipa/
IPA Offerings. So, a coffee IPA is in the works and we are working on getting it to you before Labor Day. Also in the “beer lab” a hazy New England IPA.
