Cream Ale Craft Beer Gives Nod to Rescue Dogs at West Palm Beach Brewery

Do you like a cream ale?  How about a cream ale made by the #1 craft brewery in Florida?  Well, if you’re into craft brewery tours and great tasting craft beer, check out this Rescue Dog Cream Ale on tap at the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault, 332 Evernia Street, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401.

  • Cream Ale on Tap.  What do you need to know about the West Palm Beach Brewery? Well, this little, privately owned craft brewery is on 332 Evernia Street in the downtown, about 5 blocks north of the new Convention Center http://www.pbconventioncenter.com/  and CityPlace. http://www.Cityplace.com They do not distribute, so you won’t find their beer in ABC Fine Wine & Spirits  https://www.abcfws.com/ or in Whole Foods. http://www.wholefoods.com
  • They love Rescue Dogs!   The brewery is a pet friendly brewery. Well-behaved dogs are treated lovingly and with respect, outside” said owner John Pankauski. “We gladly provide water bowls and free treats for ‘beer lovers’ best friend.'”   As you can imagine the Brewery cites safety and health issues for not permitting animals except true and sincere service dogs, inside.
  • Rescue Dog Cream Ale.  So, if  you like a cream ale made from scratch, you will get a chance to see where it’s made, in the brewery’s production facility, and then try it in their tap room.  The tap room has seating for 170 patrons all in an air conditioned, slightly upscale environ, which was custom built.  The production facility, the 10 barrel system, is viewable behind the glass by the long bar where the 20 tap system rests. That’s right, this brewery has 20 craft beers on tap !  And usually, one of those taps is a guest cider.  The brewery opens at 12:00 noon on Sundays, and has the NFL Sunday Ticket from DirecTV.  All the NFL games are on their big screen HD TV’s on Sunday although, the brewery stresses that it is a brewery, not a sports bar.  On Saturdays, the brewery opens at 11:00 a.m. for the fall and winter months, for the downtown Green Market.  (Summer hours will go back to a 12:00 noon open after “season.”)  On Saturdays in the fall, all the college football games are on.
  • All Natural, All Heart, All Craft !  This cream ale is made with all natural ingredients.  The brewery does not use extracts, fillers or artificial flavors.  The Rescue Dog Cream Ale comes in at 5.7% ABV and was brewed with honey malt and lactose for a slightly smooth, creamy texture.  The cream ale served in this micro-brewery just one block east of the brand new Brightline Train Station (West Palm Beach stop)  http://www.gobrightline.com  is a light-medium body and a touch of sweetness. Pair this cream ale with food from their brewery restaurant https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-food/  or next too a glass of wine from their wine barhttps://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-wines/ Better yet, compare it to the other craft beers made right there  https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-beers/ with a beer flight, only $2 for a 5 ounce pour! On Sundays, there are free brewery tours and wine tours. Check out the chalkboard for lunch and dinner specials and new, limited release craft beer.  Ask the server about Sauvignon Blanc Sundays, or when they are going to get wine on tap.
