Downtown West Palm Beach’s 1st Craft Brewery & Tap Room to Open April, 2017

Our Journey

WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA —  West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault LLC is pleased to announce that construction and licensing approval is under way for a history-making beer event in South Florida.

With the September, 2016 passage of the first-ever brewery regulations in the city of West Palm Beach, a local company is “full speed ahead” to open the downtown’s first craft brewery by April of 2017.

“The application for a craft brewery and tap room has been pending with the TTB for months now and the LLC expects to submit a formal application for renovation to the City of West Palm Beach this week” said John Pankauski, of Pankauski Hauser PLLC, attorneys for the upstart micro-brewery.

  • Location:  West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault will be housed in a 6,000 square foot facility between South Dixie and South Olive at 332 Evernia.
  • That places the downtown’s first craft brewery and production facility one block west of the intra-coastal, where events like Sun Fest, the Palm Beach International Boat Show, and numerous concerts and road races are held throughout the year.
  • The micro-brewery-to-be is also located four blocks due east of the Tri-Rail Station in West Palm Beach, and just one block east of the 2017-opening Brightline Train Station which will link Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami to West Palm Beach with 1 stop train service.
  • Parking for 500 vehicles is available in the city garage across the street from the brewery on the northeast corner of South Dixie and Evernia.
  • Craft Beer & Premium Wine:  In addition to craft beers, pilsners, porters and stouts made on the premises, the West Palm Beach Brewery will also offer an alternative for those who enjoy wine, but not beer: small lot, premium wines from Napa Valley and the Sta. Rita Hills.
  • The tap room will pour 5-10 standard or core beers, 2-4 “reserve” beers, and 1-2 “dessert beers” available throughout the year, in addition to small lot, seasonal offerings.
  • “Construction is under way, the tanks should be in, in January, and the designers are now working on the outdoor beer garden” a spokesperson said.
  • “In January, we will solicit interviews with artisan food trucks since we will not make food on the premises.  We want a Napa Valley tasting room atmosphere where visitors and guests meet, try, sip and eat together.  We encourage friends and groups to picnic and bring their own food, have lunches and dinners inside or outside in our West Palm Beach beer garden under the stars.”
