If you’ve been part of the craft beer community for more than a short time, you’ve likely come across some of the lovely brews that are bringing the chocoholics to the taproom. Yes, that’s right, chocolate beers are here to stay, because they’ve gained an undeniable following that won’t be silenced (no matter how hard you chocolate haters try). However, this leads us to wonder, why did these brews gain so much popularity?
Not only do chocolate brews offer some lovely aromas to entice the chocoholics into the taproom, they also have some great flavor profiles to keep those same folks engaged. Along with this, there is a long list of meals that pair up really well with these brews, giving an even deeper reason for people to step into their local taproom and try them. For example, check out some of the meals listed below that pair up great with these delicious brews.
As you can see, there are plenty of options to choose from and that is only a short list! It’s no wonder so many craft beer enthusiasts are hopping onto the Chocolate Beer train. We expect this style to last for a very long time, as it has already survived many changes in the industry over the decades and will likely be a favorite for a very long time to come.
We’d love to hear about the delicious chocolate brews you’ve found during your own journeys. Be sure to leave us a comment with the name of the brews and who produced them, as well as what you thought of them! You’re story just might be the inspiration for our next feature and we really enjoy hearing from our readers.
Also, remember to stop in later this year if you’re in South Florida because our own opening is coming up. We’ll be featuring some outstanding craft brews, as well as some excellent premium wines from Pankauski Wine Cellar that will have your taste buds singing! We look forward to seeing all of you then. Until then, happy tasting from all of us at West Palm Beach Brewery and Wine Vault!
