Best Restaurant After Kravis Center Performances?

What’s the best restaurant that is close by the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, so you can get some bites or dinner after a show? The West Palm Beach Brewery at 332 Evernia Street is within walking distance, or a short ride with free parking.  Here’s what you need to know.

  1. Location. The Kravis Center  https://www.kravis.org/ in West Palm Beach is considered one of the finest performing arts venues in Florida. It is located on Okeechobee Boulevard, downtown in West Palm Beach. The Kravis Center is located east of 95 and it is next to CityPlace  http://www.cityplace.com/  and across the street from the Palm Beach County Convention Center  http://www.pbconventioncenter.com/  and the new Hilton Hotel West Palm Beach Convention Center   http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/florida/hilton-west-palm-beach-PBIWPHH/index.html . The Kravis Center is just east of the Marriott Hotel West Palm Beach https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/pbimc-west-palm-beach-marriott/. The Brewery is located at 332 Evernia Street, about four blocks north of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and two blocks east, on Evernia Street between South Olive Avenue and South Dixie Highway.
  2. Performances. The performances at the Kravis Center range from Broadway shows to regional theatre, opera,  https://pbopera.org/ live music of all genres, to speeches. There are a number of venues within the Kravis Center for both larger audiences and more intimate performances. We just saw Avenue Q yesterday at the Rinker Playhouse, produced by MNM Theatre Company: http://www.mnmtheatre.org/ great job! A super Sunday.
  3. Year Round Action. While everyone thinks of the “season” in Palm Beach as Thanksgiving to Easter, the Kravis Center thinks of a season as a year round thing. Right now, you can donate and “join” the Kravis, so you get advance notice of ticket sales and performances for the 2018-2019 season. Check out the Kravis Calendar online and consider joining.
  4. Gotta Eat! Hey, after a great performance, don’t you want a bite to eat? Well, the West Palm Brewery has a great restaurant, called The Intracoastal Kitchenhttps://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-food/ This brewery restaurant has healthy options like an arugula salad, fire roasted cauliflower, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, as well as Florence-inspired, gourmet wood fire pizza (we make the pizza dough in house by hand !!), and more typical beer bites like fire roasted wings (never fried), Grandma’s meatballs, red sauce and garlic bread, sliders, and pretzels.
  5. Amazing Wine! That’s right, the West Palm Brewery has vineyard-direct, premium wine made in very limited quantities, typically 25-150 cases, that is only available at The Vault, the Napa-like tasting room, wine retail store.  Belly up to the wine bar, sit down, or enjoy a bite to eat in our “living room“,  and we will gladly serve you dinner while you sample a glass, flight or bottle of amazing wine. We are NOT a sports bar, but there are HD Smart TVs to catch late breaking national news and sporting events. Seriously, our wine is top drawer and offered at 20-50% less than what you would pay in Napa Valley or Sonoma. We offer over 20 wines by the glass,  https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-wines/  wine flight, or bottle, with more to come as the last of our 2016 vintage just got bottled and our wines from the 2017 vintage just getting bottled. (Coming soon: 2017 Sauvignon Blanc and Inky Black red wine, Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, and the much anticipated Palm Beach Pinot (crafted solely for the Palm Beach market.)
  6. Get here! So, our craft beer, made right on the premises at 332 Evernia Street, is delicious, homemade, and served at 37 degrees in our tap room. My pitch to you is to consider a south Florida brewery for your next night out, next happy hour, when you want to meet for drinks with friends, and, certainly, after a great performance at the Kravis Center. You will be pleasantly surprised at the high quality, artisan, made-2-order food, craft beer and wine.  Parking is free in the designated spaces. Do NOT, please, park in the east lane of spaces or the bank will boot you.  There is also easy to access, very reasonably priced parking in the 8 story city parking garage which can be accessed from Evernia Street and from South Dixie Highway and Evernia. The West Palm Beach Brewery is open until 11:00 pm most nights and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
