Napa Valley wine lovers, get ready for a Night in Napa. That’s right, if you like big Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and other reds from America’s preeminent wine region and AVA, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Pankauski Cellars‘ owner John Pankauski will lead a tasting of his small lot Napa Valley wines in an exclusive tasting with Advanced Sommelier Richard Paladino, CMS. The location is the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault, 332 Evernia Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 http://www.WestPalmBeer.comon Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Cost is $24.99 plus 20% gratuity plus tax.
Here is a list of the Napa Valley wines you can expect to try at the October 30, 2019 Napa Valley wine tasting, called A Night in Napa:
” I want to bring the experience of a super-premium Napa wine tasting to Palm Beach” says Pankauski Cellars owner John Pankauski. ” I produce very small quantities of wine, often 25-150 cases of a varietal, so there is not a lot to go around. ” Attendees at his Napa Valley wine tasting on October 30, 2019 will sample ten of his Napa Valley Wines. And, Pankauski is promising something special from his personal cellar. “We are starting with my 2017 Napa Chardonnay, what I call my ‘American Montrachet'” says Pankauski. But look to try wines that are no longer for sale, like a magnum of his 2012 Dad’s Blend Napa Valley, or his 2013 Pankauski Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, also in magnum. The location of this Napa Valley wine tasting is the wine bar and tasting room at the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault, 332 Evernia Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. http://www.WestPalmBeer.com The Brewery is located one block east of the Go Brightline Train Station http://www.GoBrightline.comand about 5 blocks north of City Place (now Rosemary Square) http://www.CityPlace.comand the Palm Beach County Convention Center. https://www.pbconventioncenter.com/
Look for Pankauski to talk about travel, AVAs, his wine, making wine in Napa and the Sta. Rita Hills, and everything in between. “Wine is the great unifier” says Pankauski. Chef Andrew will pair nibbles with Pankauski’s wines, including roasted cauliflower with the Napa Chardonnay, bacon steak, smoked brisket, charcuterie, and, of course, cheese. “I want to create a regular series of wine tastings, as if you were on the Silverado Trail or Rt. 29 in Napa” says Pankauski. Paladino and Pankauski were in Santa Barbara in April, for a bottling of four of Pankauski’s wines, and barrel sampling of 2017’s and 2018’s. “We have some amazing St. Helena Cab in French Oak with my winemaker, Ken Brown. We plan on bottling that in 2020 and releasing it a year or so later” starts Pankauski. “We also have some wonderful Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre’ and Petite Sirah in barrel that won’t be available ’til next year at the earliest.” Look for an announcement on other wine tastings coming up. These include November 13 devoted to his white wines and his Rose’. December 4th will feature his Syrahs, Grenaches and Mourvedres.
