New IPA: West Palm Brewery releases “Polka Polka Polka” IPA for Polka Block Party + Polish Craft Beer Day

New IPA in town! On February 2nd, 2019, the West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault released their “Polka Polka Polka” IPA.  The chief brewer at the downtown’s only craft brewery maintains an exceptional performance of producing high quality, delicious craft beers, and this new IPA is no exception. This new brew is being released to celebrate the second Polka Fest and Polish Craft Beer Block Party, with the Polka King, Jan Levan. Jan was played by actor Jack Black in the Netflix film, The Polka King. Fans got to meet the Polka King, himself, Jan Levan, and see him perform live with the Alex Meixner Orchestra.

   

This new IPA will join a nop-notch roster of nationally recognized craft beers made at the West Palm Brewery, which has a 20 tap system in their serving room.  Their serving bar in their brewpub has 20 beers, some of which are fixtures and others which rotate. 

  • Polish Block Party: Pankauski grew up in a Polish community, Peabody, Massachusetts, with St. Joseph’s Polish Parish Church and St. Michael’s Polish Society down the street from his home and the birthplace of his mom, Zosia, and Uncle Stash, and his Aunt Jen, and Aunt Irene.  When Pankauski wanted to throw a Polish Craft Beer and Polka Block Party, he reached out to The Polka King and Jan’s production team.

  • August 2019 Polka Block Party + Polish Craft Beer Day.  Pencil in your calendars for Saturday, August 24, 2019.  The brewery and Polka King are in the planning stages to have another Polk Block Party with additional performers and Polish dancers.  There will be, no doubt, more to follow if that date becomes solid.
