Saison Craft Beer: West Palm Beach Brewery Taps French Oak Saison 8.2% ABV

Uncategorized

Hey Craft Beer Lovers, do you enjoy a cold, 37 degree Saison?

  • Saison is A Great Craft Beer.  Saison is French for “season” and is typically a pale ale.  American Brewers, of course, put their own craft, artisan touch on this beer. It has its links to France and Belgium and was originally brewed at lower alcohol levels in the spring months, for consumption in the summer.  As you can tell, the American Craft Beer Industry has come a long way and now typically it, not with low alcohol, but with a moderate to high amount or ABV. At the West Palm Beach Brewery, their French Oak Saison weighs in at 8.2% ABV.
  • Unique Craft Beer.  To learn more about Saison, consider reading a great article on Saison by writer Emily Hutto http://emilyhutto.com/  at Beer& Brewing  https://beerandbrewing.com/.
  • Try It In Palm Beach County.  So, where can I try an authentic Saison craft beer at a brewery in Palm Beach County? Try the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault at 332 Evernia Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. The brewery has a 20 tap system in their tap room and they offer a wide variety  https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-beers/  of always-changing rotating craft beers.   Yes, the owner of the brewery believes in giving you variety + not the “same old, same old“. So, they provide new + weekly + weekend specials in their brewery restaurant https://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-food/  as well as increasing the offerings of their premium wine selections at their Napa Valley like wine tasting bar, which they call The Vaulthttps://www.westpalmbeer.com/our-wines/      They typically have 15 of their own craft beers made right there on the premises in their 10 barrel production facility, “behind the glass” of the tap room, served at their Long Bar.  They usually carry 5 guest taps.
  • French Oak Saison at West Palm Beach Brewery.  Want to try a Saison in South Florida? Get on over to the West Palm Beach Brewery where their limited production, Private Reserve French Oak Saison is on tap and will land in your glass at 37 degrees, with 8.2% ABV.  This Saison, made right here on the premises at 332 Evernia Street, was gently steeped in the very finest French Oak chips to impart a slightly vanilla, tad-sweet round richness and flavor.  If you have ever had the premium wine in the West Palm Beach Brewery’s wine tasting room or wine bar, you know that there wines, while NOT over-oaked, do typically use about 30% new French Oak on their best Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. So, French Oak is not just for premium wine, it’s for great craft beer, too!
