Pumpkin brews we loved

Pumpkin brews we loved

Although pumpkin season is over, we wanted to look back on some of the amazing pumpkin brews that were inspired by those lovely orange fruits we all love.  After all, creativity abounds in the craft brewing industry and we’re proud to see pumpkin, orange, coconut, and pretty much any fruit inspired beer popping up across the United States.  Although these craft brews are not everyone’s favorite, they are certainly interesting and below is a list of the ones we found that really hit a cord. In addition to these brews being creative in their own right, some of the breweries […]

Pairing rich foods with craft beer

Pairing rich foods with craft beer

Pairing rich foods with craft beer is always fun. Whether you prefer to complement or contrast your textures and flavors, creativity is the key.  None of us have the exact same tastes.  This is obviously noted by the large variety of craft beers available on the market today.  Long gone are the days when you had but a few choices when you bellied up to the bar.  Now you can often find a dozen or more options to choose from and sometimes you’re really not sure what is going to taste great with the meal you’re about to eat.  This […]

Favorite IPAs, Porters, and Stouts

Favorite IPAs, Porters, and Stouts

We all have a brew that we love above all others.  It’s something that happens over time as we taste several different craft beers.  That’s one of the great parts of craft brewing.  We all get to have different taste, yet we all agree that craft beer is great.  Here are a few of our favorite IPAs, Porters, and Stouts.  Maybe they’re already on your list of favorites as well.  If not, give them a try and see what you think! 3 of our Favorite IPAs Whether you like a mildly hoppy brew or a hopmonster full of bitter joy, we […]

Holy brite tanks I think we’re almost there!

It’s time for a West Palm Beach Brewery and Wine Vault update!  Our tanks have arrived and they’re being positioned for setup!  Yes, folks, we’re well on our way to our opening in April in West Palm Beach and we can’t wait to open our doors to the public.  The Warehouse District is gaining a lot of changes lately and we’re proud to be one of them. Check out the pictures below to see those shiny fermentation tanks being delivered.  We’re quite proud of this step in our journey, as it means we are that much closer to seeing all […]

Fruity craft brews for spring dreams

Fruity craft brews for spring dreams

We’ve been talking a lot about the various different types of craft beer on the market and we’ve mentioned fruity craft brews before, but we figured it was a good time to bring them back out.  With the groundhogs on the different ends of the United States arguing about whether winter will, or will not, end soon, it’s time we had something to make us feel like Spring is just around the corner.  After all, the bipolar weather of winter cannot last forever, or so we hope is the case. Why are fruity craft brews so darn Springy? Honestly, we’re […]

Oldest brewery in Nevada: Great Basin Brewing

Oldest brewery in Nevada: Great Basin Brewing

While Great Basin may not be the oldest brewery ever in the state of Nevada, it is the oldest brewery still operating at this time.  The oldest and longest running brewery in the state was Carson Brewing Company, which was in operation until 1948 when the business was liquidated.  The building is currently home to the Brewery Arts Center.  As for Great Basin, they were established in 1993 and were the first operating brewery in the state since the dissolution of Carson Brewing Company in 1948.  Great Basin has made great strides since their conception and their label has spread […]

Late night craft beer tasting

Late night craft beer tasting

Craft beer tasting is one of the things that I have the epic privilege of doing as the writer for the blog.  However, I often ask the guys for their views on the different brews we feature because they have the most time to really assess each beer.  They do the traveling, the heavy work, and they’re currently involved with all the preparations for the opening coming up in April in West Palm Beach. They’re amazing people and I love the fact that I get to work with them.  They’ve drawn me into a world that I had never really been […]
