Today we’re traveling to New Zealand, where wineries have proven themselves time and again, producing some of the best premium wines on the market from delicious reds to zesty whites and a variety of blends as well. One vineyard showing specific promise is Yealands Family Wines, located in Marlborough. This beautiful vineyard even won the International Wine and Spirit Competition of 2014 which does not surprise us here at West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault one bit!
This glorious winery features seven, yes seven, lovely vineyard sites over the course of time and the premium wines they produce are top-notch. Besides producing some very tasty wine, they’ve also established a deer farm that has won awards for rural environment concerns and promises to keep a natural population from expiring and Peter’s efforts in the marine area are notable as well. If you’d like to read his full story, check out his book titled “A Bloke For All Seasons – the Peter Yealands story”.
As many successful winemakers know, sustainable farming practices are the only way to ensure the future of the wine industry while providing high-quality wines for their customers time and again. From their premium Reserve collection to their delightful Sparkling wines, every wine has a unique flavor that delights the senses and is sure to be appreciated by a wide variety of palettes. Connoisseurs everywhere have found their wine to be a perfect choice and we’re looking forward to adding a bottle or two to our racks as well!
We suggest a trip to visit their Cellar Door if you get the chance. Not only would you have the opportunity to learn a great deal about their wines, but you’d also be in New Zealand! What better opportunity to make a real vacation of it and visit the landscape, see some sights, and take home a bottle of Yealands Family Wines and a lifetime of memories!
