The Story Behind this Award Winning Imperial Stout — So, how did a little brewery in downtown West Palm Beach come to gain national attention for an Imperial Stout? “I asked our chief brewer to make a dark beer in honor of my late Uncle Stanley Lachowicz. We were having our Polka Fest in February, 2019 , which is a block party. My Uncle Stash was my godfather and he liked his beer. We went with an Imperial Stout, which is one of my personal favorites, to honor my late Uncle Stash. ” The tribute is a compelling story. The owner’s uncle served honorably in WWII in the United States Navy, https://www.navy.mil/having served on the USS William D. Porter.
